Iraqi Kurdistan, Kawergosk refugee camp. Fahatma (R) and Garden (L) pose for a portrait inside their tent in Kawergosk refugee camp. Arrived at the camp in August 2013, they come from Kasna, a village located in the Syrian Kurdistan that has been evacuated because on the intensify of fightings between the Kurdish People’s Defense Units (PYG) and Islamic fighters.
The camp has been opened in August 2013 and despite it was planned for a capacity of 10000 people is giving shelter to more than 13000. ALESSIO ROMENZI
